Facetime camera on Air's

What's the difference between the old iSight (or whatever its called) and the new "Facetime" camera's on the new macbook air's? Is it just the resolution (megapixels?)? Does anyone know any specifics?

My imac camera is pretty sharp when i do skype with ppl. the macbook air version is ok and not as sharp. not HD thats for sure. wonder what resolution HD cameras look like in macbooks.

I think just the name changed. It isn't the Facetime HD camera that's on the MacBook Pro (not enough room for the sensor).
