Is anyone else's phone getting extremely hot while using facetime? I can't be on a facetime call longer than 5 minutes because my phone gets really hot after updating to ios11. I also noticed some heat generating while using youtube but not as much as when I am using facetime.

I am on an iphone 7 (4.7) btw.

Though I post an update to this.

I gave it a couple of days in hopes it would go away, incase something was just been done in the background to finalize the update. The 11.0.1 update sort of made it a bit better but the phone would still get hot, not only with facetime but also while playing videos. I am not sure if the format of the videos had anything to do with it though because on youtube it would get warm but not "hot" but if i watched some videos on the weather channel app, even a minute long it would get ridiculously hot, so i think it may had something to do with the GPU.

My battery was also not lasting too long, I was down to 10% by 2pm, after starting with a full charge at 8am. Some may argue that my usage could be hight, but after downgrading to 10.3.3, the time is now 2:36pm and I am at 52% with the same kind of usage pattern.

As you can see from the above comment, I finally had enough and just downgraded to 10.3.3. I held Apple to a higher standard, but as of recent their software quality is not the same it used to be, even on the Mac I had to downgrade my Mac to El Capt from Sierra because of bugs, and i'm not even considering High Sierra at this point. I think I'm officially going to start looking into alternatives for future purchases since paying the "apple tax" doesn't really seem worth it anymore.
