iPad FaceTime crashing after updating to OS8 on my iPad Air

I can't even browse the internet with my ipad anymore. I'm sure not about to trust it with communications. Gawd I hope they get a new update that fixes things soon. IOS8 is WAYYYYY more of a problem than bendgate. My guess, Apple is thankful for these distracting non-issues so people aren't as focused on things that really matter, like the operating system.

its been about as stable as plutunium lately. that .2 patch really helped!! (rolling eyes)

Just found out about a solution that so far has been working. Turn off FaceTime then turn it back on. FaceTime without your iPad plugged into charger.

It has not crashed at all. I am a heavy FaceTime user.
