FaceTime Doesn't support video calls...WTF!

Got this error when trying to FaceTime.

"FaceTime can’t initiate the call.
FaceTime does not support video calls."

seems to have been a glitch, turned it off and wouldn't come back on, then left it for a few minutes and reopened. first attempt was a blank screen, the second seemed to work
