I installed the package and everything, it looks legit, I just haven't enabled FaceTime yet in the settings yet (which it instructs you to do) since I'm at work.

Eh, like I said, the app looks kind of legit. I just dont have service at work so I cant activate (it doesnt activate over Wifi).

And you said it doesn't activate over wifi. So which end is up here? Why don't you try it and just let us in on the scam?

Ok let me clear up the confusion for you

FaceTime requires a cellular connection to activate for the first time. It activates by sending a text message to a server and registering your device. This is done one time.

USA T-Mobile users have not been able to Activate their FaceTimes because the Tmo servers aren't compatible. This patch is supposed to fix the activation issues.

Once it fixes, we will be able to FaceTime on Wifi just like everyone else.

So, as I said, I can't try right now, because i don't have a cell connection to activate FaceTime.

Yes, it's a useless app. It just connects to the following URL with whatever email you put in:

http://dev.subleteasy.com/site/activate_face_time?email_address=

That site gives a random activation code, but the app doesn't do anything with it.
