Concerning the use of FaceTime, my iPad shows the following message:
"FaceTime-activation: control of the e-mail address is not possible because
it's already in use".

As my e-mail address is always the same for whatever use, what to do now?: do I really need to create a brand new e-mail address (certainly confusing to anyone who has my actual one)? or rather a new Apple-ID?

Are you sharing your Apple ID with anybody? If so, make sure they are only signed in to the Store with it and not iCloud and/or iMessage/FaceTime. They should be using their own ID for the latter two services or it can cause all kinds of confusion.

As I do not share my Apple ID, there must be another reason.
Maybe this one? On 'iCloud' my actual e-mail address has been set as Apple ID indeed.

It sounds like you have more than one email associated with your Apple ID, and you need to sort it out.
FaceTime requires that you sign in with an email address that is a primary address for an Apple ID account.
Read through this and see if anything helps.
