My iPhone 5 doesn't make or receive FaceTime calls. I can try to call someone, but it'll just ring and ring on my end, but the other person's phone will never ring. Same with receiving. My iPad mini will ring right away, but my iPhone won't, even if the iPad is off. I've tried a hard reboot with no resolution.

Any solutions or advice? TIA.

Put off facetime - > Settings - > General - > Reset - > Reset Network Settings -> phone will reboot - > turn on facetime, try it :)

Hi in simple, Go to Settings and tap FaceTime.
Turn on FaceTime and tap “Use your Apple ID for FaceTime.”

Enter your Apple ID and password

after, choose which email addresses and phone numbers you want people to use to contact you for FaceTime calls.

Then, Scroll down to Caller ID. Choose which email address or phone number you want to appear during outgoing FaceTime calls.
Thanks for the tips. But those settings were already set, and it still wasnt working...
Do a restore.
I just restored and updated to 6.1.2, so hopefully this resolves the issue. I will have to make some test calls.
Put off facetime - > Settings - > General - > Reset - > Reset Network Settings -> phone will reboot - > turn on facetime
Thanks, I did this as well, hopefully it resolves the issue. :)
