FaceTime Issue on MacBook Pro

I have been using Apple devices a while now, but I think I probably used FaceTime once or twice in all that time. I have an unusual issue, when I get a FaceTime call on my MB, it rings, but I don't see the answer button, just the end or put phone down button. Does anyone know what could be the issue?
