have anyone here got the iphone 4 and restored it from a backup and lost the facetime button???

Do a clean restore?

Settings > Phone > slide the "FaceTime" slider to on to enable Facetime.

I was reading stories about this happening when you restore from backup so I set my phone up as new. It's a pain in some cases but I'd rather start fresh with new hardware.

Like a previous poster said, go to settings -->phone-->facetime and activate it.
