Hey guys
A friend of mine recently upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS5 and the facetime icon is missing.(It's not available in the settings or settings>phone);whereas,it's showing on my phone.
So what do you guys recommend him ? should he try a fresh OS install ?

the iphone 4 doesn't have a facetime icon, you just use the phone app or the contacts app to start facetime to a contact that also has facetime.

androiphone is correct, but if it's not showing in Settings, then something may have hiccuped as it should be there. Check if it's available on a contact. Otherwise try a fresh reinstall.

He checked and it wasn't available on the contacts either.
It's working fine on his iPad 2 though.

As Carl G35c mentions, first try a restore and load the backup -- if it's still not showing up in Settings, then you may need to do a Restore and set up as a new phone.

OK,so he did a clean install of the OS but still doesn't have FaceTime
