FaceTime on iPhone 5 issues

I have always face timed on my iPhone 5. Recently the person I FaceTime with says that my video is always pixelated all of a sudden. It did not use to be like this. They have an iPhone 4 and using WIFI when face timing me. Is that the cause? Their phone not being able to get better quality video? Or could it be my iPhone?

it could be either connection. what are you on when you're face timing? even wifi can be bogged down and slow. and what OS version are you using? 7.0.4 was just released to fix some kind of face time bug.

your cellular connection most likely is not as fast as their wifi. the pixilation is likely on your end.
