Skype for TV is no longer supported as of today. I used it to talk with my granddaughter and family in England. It worked great. I do not have a laptop or desktop computer so I need to use my phone and FaceTime to talk with them. After some research I found out I can use a "lighting to HDMI adapter" to see fine on my TV. I bought the adapter and it works good but with a few exceptions. I hope someone can help me. All these exceptions are while using FaceTime.
1. I can get landscape view on my phone but it shows up as portrait on the TV. The picture on the TV screen seems to be opposite of what is on phone. Opposite orientation.
2. The picture on the TV screen is small (not full size of screen) however if I go to any app besides FaceTime, it shows full screen on TV.
3. Sound does not play through TV speakers but does play through phone. Again that's only FaceTime. I've played videos on the phone and it is full screen and sound goes through TV speakers.
TV is a 70" Vizio
My family on the other end can see and hear me fine.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
