iPod touch Facetime On Ipod Touch Question ?

I need to buy a ip touch for my friend over sea
so he can facetime to us

he using low internet speed only 1 mb per sec
so could he make facetime talk to us , iphone to iphone
will it shaking noise any issue with that speed ?

Remember the data goes both ways. His data has to get from his phone to your one, so download speed isn't the whole story.

I've used facetime at speeds much slower than that and it was ok. A little jumpy at times but quite useable.
