FaceTime on Mac takes ages to connect to incoming call

Have set up Hand Off and Continuity on Yosemite. Although I can answer FaceTime on iPhone immediately, it takes ages until I can answer on iMac? Any ideas?

Also, when answering on iPhone it FaceTime continues ringing on iMac until I shut it off manually. VERY annoying!
