I have a colleague that has a son deploying to Afghanistan in the JAG office. He wants to use a MBP to do FaceTime with his family here and some office work.

I am looking for an old MBP but does anyone know off the top of their head what is the oldest MBP FaceTime will work with? The older MBP will limit the version of OS X it can run which will limit FaceTime.

Thanks for the help!

Would skype not work?

There are going to be issues with him finding a network that he'll be able to plug his computer into, but will have a computer at his desk.
