I got a new iphone 4 and so did my lady. It worked when we got home. But then I restored my phone from a backup. Both of us are on wifi, but when I call her, she has the facetime option but my option to connect to face time is gone.

Thoughts?

What?! That shouldn't be. How do I fix this? Is it in settings?

Edit: Nevermind, I found it but it won't finish activating the FaceTime option after I turn it on. Oh well, not everything may work today.

Same thing just happen to me, just got an iPhone 4 did the option to restore so I didn't lose all my txt messages. Then it was gone... Any way to get it back with out wiping the phone, I really want to keep all my txt.

Okay, I just figured it out... I guess doing the restore from my 3Gs turned the option off for face time.

It was under:
Settings -> phone - facetime switch it on
