FaceTime over 3G on 4.1

3G Unrestrictor used to work with 4.01. It's not working anymore, apple must of modified the way it detects if you are on wifi or 3G. Hopefully they will be able to find a way to update the app.
 
I am having the same issue. I hope they update 3G-Unrestrictor to fix it.
 
Has anyone tried activating MyWi Hotspot tethering? Since that makes the phone think it's on Wifi it should work with no problems. Inconvenient yes, but it's there if you need to start a Facetime call.
 
Anyone tried Facebreak under 4.1? I think I'm pretty content to stay on 4.0.1, until there is a 4.1 compatible Facetime over 3G enabler, like My3G or 3Gunrestrictor or Facebreak.
 
Whelp, looks like I'll be keeping my 4.0 jailbreak for now until this craziness gets sorted out!
 
I am using 3G unrestrictor on iPhone 4 OS 4.1 and facetime is working over 3G. You have to turn on the "Enable IsDirect flag" to make it work. You can do this within the 3G Unrestrictor App by hitting the ">" arrow.

i just tried that.. but it didn't work .. it would ring if someone calls.. but when i hit the answer key.. it say's connecting but then cuts off and ask me to connect to a wifi network

You know whats crazy is that its not working anymore. I don't know why it isn't. Weird...
 
try turn on wifi but do not connect to any network, it worked for my friend, tested it out with him today, but its laggy tho

This worked for me. When I was out and about with WiFi on and not connected to any network it worked. When I came home to test the faceTime I turned WiFi off and the 3G unrestrictor didn't work.

Today I didn't connect to my WiFi (Forget this network) and now it works. I guess this is fine for me because I never turn off WiFi. But hopefully the bug is fixed in an updated release.
