I used my brothers 3GS to setup a myWi connection and I used that to FaceTime another iPhone 4 on the house WiFi.

I believe this correctly simulates FaceTime over 3G and I was surprised that it worked quite well!

It appears the video was compressed more than standard WiFi but it was fluid, sound was good and not choppy.

Try it out for yourself! I cant wait for a Jailbreak!

I have a feeling this is why ATT is trying to get rid of the $30/month unlimited data plan, once they*allow Facetim over 3G they are going to rake in some serious cash.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but I was using the 3G connection over a 3GS phone and not the newer USPMA (or whatever it is) modem and I would imagine the iPhone 4 would have a faster upload and have even better video quality!
