Facetime problems

Hi,
I don't use FaceTime all that much, but tried to use it yesterday. It says the person who I'm calling is not available, FaceTime failed. If they call me they say it's connected then they lose me. Turned off and on FaceTime and rebooted iPhone 5s with 7.1.1, still nothing.
Any help would be appreciated?

That is a good question!! I'm not sure, she is at work. I think she has a iPhone 4s or 5, not really sure. Guessing maybe they need to update iOS?

It's possible. It seems that various versions of iOS 6 are having FaceTime issues recently.
