When I go under settings...phone. I slide the tab "on" for facetime but underneath is says "waiting for activation". None of my friends have I4 yet so I haven't been able to test the facetime function.

What does that waiting for activation thing mean...do I need to do something?

Thanks

I think it's just a matter of running thru Apple's Servers.. I activated 4 iPhones in my office today, and they all did that for a few minutes... try a Hard reset and see if it make a difference.

Someone told me to try....settings...general....reset...and reset the network settings. Phone rebooted and then recognized facetime.

I did that now facetime is activated it says "your phone number will be shared with people you call with facetime"

But every time I try to actually make a facetime call it will attempt to connect then the call will fail or it will say facetime is unavailable.
