Hey guys, so when I open up Facetime, there is the friends/contact menu, is there anyway to hide it? It's like every time I open up Facetime, half my face is dark, while the other side is normal on the webcam. Is there anyway to make it disappear?

Not that I have found but you DO know that once you make a call it goes away, right?

I do know that, but I was just wondering if there was a way to get it away from just regular use as well... I like to use FaceTime as a mirror sometimes instead of having to go through camera and push a few more buttons.

AFAIK, there is no way to disable the right column until an actual call is made...
Perhaps there is a hack somewhere but I haven't heard of one yet myself...
