Never used, thought we would try, did so 2 day ago.
iP5 w/ iOS8 signs into the App store fine but not FT.

FaceTime says: FaceTime Activation could not Sign In

Two different iP5's both iOS8.x
Different networks.
Turned off iPhone overnight last night.

Read this, no help:

Perhaps iOS8 is no longer supported?
 
iOS 8.1 has some advantages, even over 8.3. For one I can access data within Apps with iMazing, Apple took away access w/ 8.3.
The iP5 runs great on 8 and doubt it would update to any 64bit iOS (would need an iP5s).

I downloaded Duo on a Mac then tried with the iP5 and it said there was no version for this device (often one can download anolder version of an app if one first purchases on a Mac that has iTunesprior to v12.7.
Google Voice app (32bit) - will no longer let one sign in. Hence my thought about FT.
 
I did more research and found this which would indicate iOS8 and earlier are no longer supported:
