I tried to make an MacBook Pro to iMac Facetime call and while I could hear the other person just fine, they couldn't hear me. I even called the same person on their iPhone (sound worked fine), GChat video call (sound worked fine). My friend also called from his iPhone to iMac and the sound worked fine. Can anyone figure out why the Facetime computer to computer call was the only one with sound problems?

Probably

Your wifi capacity...It's what lets down things like FaceTime. As a test, find a friend who has fast Broadband and try a call from there, if that works then you either have a slow connection or you might need a better router.

You think it's my wifi even though sound worked everywhere else? Even my Facetime Computer to iPhone call worked. Maybe I'll find an ethernet cable and directly connect to my router.

Thanks.
