Ok, so I know that facetime DID work while my phone was jailbroken because i made a facetime call over 3G using My3G... but now all of a sudden i cannot get any facetime calls to go through... I can initiate a facetime call (where it switches to the camera) but it always fails... also when someone tries to facetime me i never even get a call from them... Now that there is the desktop facetime client i wanted to try and see if that could make it work... but on my laptop it just says that i'm not available for facetime...

is there some way i can troubleshoot this? is there anything i can install through cydia?

any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Similar here. I am on 4.01. Tried to make a Facetime call from my wife's MacBook pro to my iPhone. Got a message saying the person you are calling is using an outdated face time version (something to that effect). My guess is that we need to be on ios 4.1 to make/receive calls from our macs.
