Facetime Stuck on Activating

When I try to call my Dad in the same house, i can't click the facetime feature on the phone. It is stuck on activating....anyone having this issue?

Try going into settings>phone and turning FaceTime off and then back on, also try resetting the phone.

Happened with my office mate's Verizon iPhone today. She had to call Verizon.

Once you turn Face-time on, Then turn off you iphone, then turn it back on and you should be set. I have the AT&T Version of the iPhone 4 and I did that I have had had any problems


If you own a mac, mac email address, and a AT&T or Verzion iPhone 4 and you want to try the face time feature out with out calling any of you friend, you can download this from the apple site http://www.apple.com/mac/facetime/

Since with that you can actually uses the email to call the computer

I'm somewhat sure that you can't use Facetime with two people on the same wifi network? sound accurate to anyone?

Have you tried calling Verizon, there are some carrier settings involved.
