Hi

I'm new to this forum. I just purchased a Mac Mini, the latest 2014 version. I am trying to use it for FaceTime. The mac Mini comes with an internal speaker, but does not seem to have a microphone and camera.

I am hoping that people within the forum can share their experience in using FaceTime with a Mac Mini. What are the best microphone and camera for this purpose?

Thanks,

PS

I am mac mini 2012 + Logitechs C310
Skype , Photo Booth is normal work but Facetime voice echo very severely .
Please help me solve, thanks.

if you use the webcam internal mic the sound will give an echo on the other end, So use a Bluetooth mic thru FaceTime calls / Skype etc ...

I don’t believe that is possible, it is possible with some types of digital cameras but not an iphone as far as I am aware. You would need a webcam. I’d recommend Logitech ones.

I'm using Camo with my iPhone 6S. The headphones are plugged into my 2012 Mini and the iPhone is mounted above the monitor. Could use a cheap USB microphone instead, may not get around to it. Better picture even the best webcams. I recommend it.
