Facetime with PS3 Eye toy camera

I've installed the PS3 camera on my mac via macam and it's working but I can't get facetime to connect with it

Keeps saying it needs a supported camera.... has anyone got this to work yet?

I'd really like to get this working asap

If you read my OP then you will see that i've said that i'm running that, the camera works through that but it won't work via facetime

How have you installed PS3eye?

This is what happened to me and others based on posts I've seen in other forums.

PS3 Eye worked on my MB Pro with several sites... Skype, Yahoo and others. This was using Macam software.

Then earlier this year after Apple updated my OS... it stopped working on these sites and I haven't been able to fix it.

At first I thought my older PS3 EYE worked on some sites and only my new one was completely useless... but tested today and neither Eye works on any of the previously mentioned sites.
