my FaceTime was working perfectly till recently, it now has asked me to sign in, so i do.... it asks me that email i would like to use for my friends to see. then goes to verify the details. it verifies the it goes back and says "The server encountered an error processing registration. please try again later" i have tried for the last week! i am about to loose faith in apple please help me!

It has been doing that to me, also. I've tried logging into the office Apple community for help but can't even do that--after I log in with my ID and password, it asks me to create a new username and then warns me that I already have one!
Finally, the main support page just told me it was unavailable. Has Apple been hacked?

i am having the same issue. same error. i have made sure my clock is correct. i am using os x mavericks, but i have the same issue. i have made sure i entered the 6 digits at the end.
