In trying to setup FaceTime - I have an iPhone 4S and the kids 2 iPads using the same apple id.

What's the best way to setup. The iPads can FaceTime my phone but not vice versa.

You can also use email addy in FaceTime settings, that's what I did.

All sorted. Set up FaceTime Apple IDs for the kids.

The kids love it and FaceTime each other before bed from there bedrooms.

Thanks for the help everyone x

Can this be done without new ids. Here's what I have and what I want to do:

1. An iMac. 2. An iPhone 4s 3. An ipad 2

The phone and ipad are on AT&T shared data plan so the ipad has a phone number assigned to it.

I want to facetime from any of those devices to either one of the other device. Right now, my phone is set up to facetime using my cell number but the imac and the ipad share my email address. If I facetime from cell to email, either one can pick up. Can I use that phone number that is assigned to my ipad to let me facetime either my ipad or my imac. Or from my ipad to my imac (impossible now). Or do I have to use a new apple id? Also, is three way facetime possible yet?
