Does anyone know of any (pref. free) facial recognition/biometrics software for OSX. What i want is some software which can be shown 2 pics and to tell if it is the same/different person.

I doubt you will find one that is free. This sounds like gov. agency type technology and that's expensive.
savar said:It's hardly B.S. There is rigorous mathematics behind facial recognition and there is some extremely accurate software out there. Also, the algorithms are published for all to read, so there's no reason that somebody can't go out and write a facial recognition engine for OS X. I just doubt that there is an economic incentive at this point. I have seen facial recognition software for windows, and you can download a free, fully-working demo of it.
