Some In the Android modding community recommend a factory reset for even brand new android phones. I had been considering either a sam gs 2 or moto photon which I had planned to reset. After having decided on and preordering the iphone 4s, I am curious if anyone has ever heard this or recommends this for iphone? Does the iphone even have the option for factory reset?

So you're saying that Android doesn't even work right straight out of the box...? HA

I've been using Android since the G1 and I've never heard of anything remotely like this.

But to answer your question yes there is a factory reset option in the iPhone, in fact I don't think there's a phone that exists that doesn't have that option.

No reason to do straight out of the box though...
