ok. so i ****ed up. i lost my start up discs and im thinking of selling my mac to get a macbook pro. would it be possible to buy the latest software and wipe the computer with the software or do i have to get the disks for my software that came with my computer. btw hi this is my first post

Get the Snow Leopard DVD for 29USD and use that to re-install Mac OS X. But iLife is not included in that. You can also get replacement DVDs for your Mac from Apple for 15-30USD if you contact them.
