Just got the Ultra. Gonna sell my S7 Hermes. Did what the Apple Support page said which is basically just unpair from the iPhone.

It shows the setup screen and removed from Find My but still shows in my list of devices under iCloud. This concerns me because when I factory reset my iPhone 13 Pro, it immediately dropped from my iCloud device list.

Is there an issue here or does it take a while to refresh? Thanks.

There is a “erase all content and settings” option in settings.

I would definitely do that as well.

Ok thanks. I know with some devices, iCloud takes a bit to update but my iPhone 13 Pro updated instantly after resetting.

I thought that if I would do that, then I would lose the ability to unpair. Too late now I guess lol.

Yea, my guess here is that since the AW is a companion to the iPhone it might take a little longer, but not really sure about that.
Maybe contact Apple and see what they have to say?

go into the settings on your phone, tap your name, and scroll down to see your devices. If it's still there, just tap it and remove it. That should disable the activation lock, and your watch will be ready to sell.

Great, thanks!
