I have PowerMac G5 that I would like to wipe clean and give to a colleague of mine.
How do I wipe all the files off or should I factory reset it?
I have the original disks that came with the machine.

You can use the original discs, or, you can go to the macintosh garden download a retail Leopard disk to take it to the latest OS. If you're concerned about any sensitive info, use one of the secure erase options in disk utility.

Insert one of the disks, boot holding the C key.
