Yes, but Italian iPhones are factory unlocked.

If you know someone in Australia...you can buy it from the Australian Online Apple Store for AUD$1040, unlocked. That's about USD$875 in todays currency.

True. But personally I wouldnt spend an extra $300-$400 just for the factory unlocking.

I think it's a great price for FACTORY UNLOCKED. That way you can upgrade as much as you'd like and not stress it. On the other hand you can buy it MUCH CHEAPER here and unlock through software locks.

The DevTeam is pretty on top of it.
