Factory Unlocked Iphone 4 or Jailbreak

I have recently purchased an Iphone 4 Factory Unlocked (Sealed Pack) from Ebay.
How can I make sure that it is actually Factory Unlocked or Jailbroken. There is no application like cydia or sn0wbreak installed on the phone.

The phone has come with IOS 4.1 Installed

Also, when i connected the phone to Itunes for first time. I received the following message.

"Congratulations. Your Iphone has been successfully Unlocked". What does this mean

... it means it's factory unlocked, not tied to a particular network.

Means, It is an official apple unlocked phone. The serial number seems to be of Hong Kong
