I followed the two step to install DarwinPort in this link:
http://darwinports.com/

I downloaded and ran the installer. however, when I tried the 2nd step, it failed:

sh-3.2# sudo port -d selfupdate
sudo: port: command not found

it is installed under:
sh-3.2# pwd
/opt/local/var/macports

can anyone help? thanks a lot.
