Failed restore

As I was restoring my iphone 3gs, I encountered error 1603 during the process and I ended up with this, (except mine has an empty progress bar)

Apparently, I'm not able to switch off the phone nor enter DFU mode at the moment. I tried many ways to resolve the problem, needless to say it all failed.
So please help me. :/
