Does anybody else have this, it's like the backlight is brighter around the edges and shows a faint glow.

Use the term "light leak" when you search the forum. You'll get a lot of hits using those words.

(Although 'Faint Glow' does sound a lot cooler, I admit!)

Thanks guys, I take it that its pretty normal then. It's no over-obvious just interested really to see if its a fault or design flaw.

After reading the threads on light-leak, I dont think I have the same problem. Light leak tends to be between the metal rim and the LCD screen (where the rubber is).

The problem I am seeing is on the LCD itself. Where the LCD meets the black border it seems to be brighter around the edges than say in the middle of the LCD.

I've seen iPhones with or without this issue. I personally don't think its a big deal, and wouldn't replace mine if it had it, but yes, iPhones without that glow DO exist.
