Faint lines appearing

I find that some square lines are appearing on the screen at then left hand top corner.(LIKE BURNT COLOR)

This is visible when the Mac boots up ( on the white screen)

otherwise it is ok.

since the iMac is only 2 months old is it advisable to ask for a replacement?

you paid for a perfect product, you deserve one.

that's image persistence. a lot of imacs get it, if not most, and apple techs usually blame it on the environment where the mac is used.
