Does this look fair to y'all?

iBook G4 1.07Mhz (bought mid-2004)
512 RAM
40G HDD
Battery has about 45-50 mins of life from a full charge
Brand new 3rd party charger with 360 days' warranty
Some superficial scratches but otherwise good condition shell
Very well used keyboard -- 13 keys have had their letter rubbed off!
Shiny patch on trackpad
Very slight bright spot on screen -- almost unnoticeable. No dead pixels.

I've never had a problem with this computer. It's been a fantastic little machine. It'll come loaded with Office 2007 for Mac and the full Adobe suite.

Mac2Sell says $380. I laugh. I was thinking $200-250. Does that seem like an ok price? I'm not selling here, by the way! A friend of a friend is interested. I don't want to rip him off.

They appraised my second gen. white macbook for $950, I got $900 when I sold it.

Hmmm... I would go for like $200, i just bought a Black MacBook for $300 (HD was dead, came with 512 RAM, upgraded to 2GB), running Leopard with 512 RAM is kinda laggy...

So i dunno, G4's are becoming more and more extinct, but that's a little powerfull machine, my 1st Mac was that same iBook, good memories...

If he's a good friend, why not help him out?, Besides, new ones are "supposed" to come out soon, so the iBook's value is going to drop even more, soon they will be included as the McDonalds happy meal prize...
