wow, cheap chinese ******...

I'm not a huge supporter of "corporate america" in all ways however chinese knockoffs do way more harm than good.

I cannt fathom why someone would entertain a clone of any description !

Ok you may pay less but your stuck with an inferior handset with little or no support and no resale value !

My advice for next time you decide to upgrade is to edit a little longer to save more cash to buy the real deal.

if i bought one of these, do you require a data plan? i want one without a data plan. just text/talk n wifi

Data plan for chinese knock off phones, are you serious?

That would smell so much law suite.. i'm guessing the producers or these knock offs are hiding at the best they can, because they have practically duplicated the exterior and pretty much the software (which seems really slow and laggy and doesn't even look as nice as on a real iPhone).

I think i can answer that to 99% that you can only buy it without a data plan but it will work with any sim card, it's a typical knock off so..

Thats what i mean, I DONT WANT A DATA PLAN onit. I just want it to call/text and use wifi if it could.

its for Gf and she doesnt use any of that, except downloads aka, angry birds. we can do on wifi.
i would totally pay $100 for one, because cheap gophones are $50 and even some of those require data, if this didnt, i would so get it. thats what im saying.

The cultural acceptance in China in regard to knockoffs is MUCH different than it is virtually anywhere else. THis isn't me being rude, it is me being honest. Some people just want that look of having the iPhone. It is a VERY good copy and if I saw someone using it on the street while passing by I wound't even notice. Without seeing the OS it's even hard to just glance at the device itself and tell it's a fake.

For those wondering, this is likely running a heavily skinned version of Android. It doesn't look THAT bad. Certainly not ten times worse than an authentic iPhone (which is about the difference in cost it seems).
