Speak Chinese? :)

This is what GENUINE APPLE CHARGERS should look like.

Now that you mentioned it, I don't think GameStop gave me a genuine charger either but it's going for a year now so meh.

Specs are the same though (output). Any consolation the Apple brand ones are made in China.

Was it wrapped in clear plastic around the chargers house to protect it? A knock off generally won't have that.

I've got one just like that with no green dot and with an apple logo. Came with a brand new iPad mini. Sealed in the package. It is legit.

My 4S charger has the green dot. Don't know what that signifies. I rarely use it as I have these around the house.

I just bought an iPad mini and it came with the old power brick as well. I'm currently on the phone with Apple support.

it sounds like you have the old charger. They stopped making them in 2008. According to apple just call up tech support and they will ship a new one in 1 business day, or exchange in store.

It seems a little weird that you wouldn't have one with the green dot.

This is true. I just called Apple and they are shipping me a new power brick.
