bought a fake iphone x silicone case from ebay and its like exactly the same as the one from apple the only difference is the price this one cost me £8.99, apple charge £40.00 so happy! The fakes cant damage my phone at all though can they?

I have a fear of damaging my phone lol, its rose red just wondering can the colour wear off on the phone?

Should not wear off since the phone is made out of glass and stainless steel. The only concern is scratching on the bands. But if it's all nicely padded with microfiber like the original, you should be fine.

yeah it is, really cool case got the rose red suprised how they copy them so well :) Thanks for the reply

Is it just as grippy as the OEM cases? Those can be hard for me to get out of my pocket.

yeah I have a pink sand official case and I have this fake rose red case and its hard to tell the difference, the grip is the same the material inside looks like same and the cases are identical, I am just worried that this case could wear off on to my iphone or the case could scratch the phone but i just cant see how, i love the case though

I had several of those Fake Cases, and it was always the same:
First few days i was very happy, and there was no real difference to the Original ones.
But after a week the „top layer“ (surface) started to change (rubbing off) and it became a really sticky and felt really bad.

It is the same thing as with Fake Apple Watch Sport Bands (Nike +), obviously apple uses a different material on top which is more durable.

Glass and stainless steel are not porous. I would say it's next to impossible for a dye to "rub off" onto a glass and steel phone. No need to worry.

Curious, why would you doubt something like this to the point where you have to post about it? If it were a concern why not buy another case?

once i had a red keep calm and carry on case and the red stained the white plastic seals around the screen so i guess its always made me have a doubt another case might wear off on the phone. thanks for reply
