As you guys know that Apple sells 8GB RAM for £320 in AppleStore. Amazon seems to be a nice place to get cheap RAM.

I found a seller who has tons of Samsung RAMs (Part of the RAM were made in Philippines).

As what I've been told that Samsung did not set a factory to manufacture RAM in Philippines. So, are these RAMs that i found in Amazon are fake?

Anyone here who has genuine Samsung RAMs mind to take a photo and show please?

The pictures shown below are those I found in Amazon (Sold by FLEXX ram and Fulfilled by Amazon)

Just checked four sticks of Apple RAM removed from my Mac's before I did an upgrade. Looks exactly like mine except all my stickers say made in China. I'm no RAM expert but hope that helps you a bit.

Yes, Samsung established factory in Philippines and modules are genuine

Hi. Samsung has business in Philippines , see link below:

Interesting situation here. Would be a good idea to ask Samsung themselves about this; they may be able to shed some light on the situation.

As cheap as RAM is these days I'd be hard pressed to believe anyone would even bother with fake chips.

It would be like counterfeiting $1 dollar bills.

Not really, 16GB costs about £80-160 depending where you go... there's a guy selling two 8GB Samsung sticks on eBay for £79 - one is made in Korea the other Philippines - I'm on the fence as whether or not to buy... first-world problems I know.. Any advice would be muchly appreciated :)

RAM prices fluctuate. The post you responded to was made 5 years ago, based on different RAM prices than you see today.

For example, the 16 GB kit I have in my MBP costs an additional 50% today over what I paid for it in 2012.
