Hi guys I just need someone's help. I bought powerbeats from eBay (yeah already sounds suspicious) and I think they're fake. First off the ear hooks are hard and plastic, not flexible at all. They won't fit my ears, and I can't adjust it either. Second there is no control talk, and third there isn't even a spot for the carrying case in the package.

Now I knew some of these things wouldn't be included, and the audio works fine so I thought maybe they aren't fake? When I messaged the seller he told me that they are first generation. Is that a viable claim? The packaging is kinda off, and the motto isn't even in there, sound is energy. Plus does first generation mean they don't come with a case and the ear hooks aren't flexible? He told me he'd give me $25 back. Should I file a case? Any help would be appreciated.

Here is the listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/250957595727?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

Those are fakes. I have the Tour HD edition w/ Control Talk. If you want DreBeats, buy it from a REPUTABLE source. DreBeats ear pieces is metallic and the "b" is etched on. The "b" on there doesn't look good as good as the original. All cases have a "b" embossed on the case. They also come with a velcro tie. Lastly, DreBeats is written on the input cable and they have serial numbers.

definitely fake, i got the legit powerbeats from bestbuy on black friday sale. The beats fit in the box and comes with talkcontrol. the plastic is not hard and very flexible. i'm bout to return them though LOL...

I'd say just by the sellers actions they seem fake. Offering to give you 35% back, just because you're inquiring about them? Seems kind of questionable.

Fake as already been mentioned, i would only buy from reputable and known resellers e.g. amazon or the dre website.

nooo...i got the legit pair, but I'm gonna return them bc of the quality. they're not as good as they were reviewed... i also bought studio beats during boxing day so might as well lol
