It's working for me with an iPhone 4 using 4.3.2. I have version 0.2-1 from the hitoriblog repo.

its not working "correctly" for me either. it will change animations speed just fine, respring, and its quick. but if i multi task (double click home button, built in ios multi tasking), it goes back to stock speed. which is weird because i used it before flawlessly. when i updated to 4.3.1 i decided to try springtomize (which ate RAM and caused crashes all the time for me, ymmv), and have now switched back to fakeclockup and am having this problem. any ideas. oh, btw, i am still on 4.3.1 and will be updating to 4.3.2 tonight. hopefully a "erase all content and settings" will fix it, as i didnt realize that didnt work on jailbroken devices...mine just reboot looped for 4 hours til i got sick of it and hard rebooted. so this time i will erase content and settings, update to 4.3.2 official, erase content and settings again, and restore to a jailbroken 4.3.2 and test it on the new firmware.

What's the point of you keep doing that erase all content over and over?
Just restore to official firmware or custom IPSW and you're good.

BTW it works fine here tested on both 4.3.1 and 4.3.2
Not sure if there's something else conflicting with it.
I also changed the double click home to bring up phone favorites so not sure if that made a difference or not.

on my phone it was introducing some lag on certain points....

One example was using angry birds... the phone would shutter for a moment and the animations continue (regular game animations).

There were SOME shutters here and there. Started disabling and uninstalling mobile substrate addons and when I removed fakeclockup, all of them vanished...

HM... I really like the faster animation, but those shutters bother me a great bit.
