Falling prices 3G & 3GS Ebay & Craigs

Been watching both pretty close the last few days. I have been watching some auctions. I am seeing prices sometimes on 3GS sometimes as low as $100. Wondering if it's better to sell now. Wait till 4 is out along with 4.0 or even if it be better to wait a month or two. Also those of us with cases and accessories wonder if it's better to sell everything together as a group or seperate. Hoping to discuss the whole selling aspect. I have seen a couple of threads on selling but not really a discussion on best time to sell etc.

i just sold my 32gb 3gs with 4.0 installed for $430, i'm sure it could have gone for more a few weeks ago but I was MORE than happy to get that, i was hoping for at least 300 to cover my iPhone 4 and now I'm on the positive side of things too

Sucks I have to be without my phone for 2 weeks though, oh well

I personally think it would have been best to sell right before the WWDC because no one knew what to expect and the media hadn't talked upnthe I4 yet.... Now a bunch of people know about the I4 and might think less of a previous version.

I worry about this ever year, and every year I sell mine after I get the new phone, I still get top dollar for it. You could see a 5-10% decrease but nothing too dramatic.

Could be but a majority of these sellers open new lines and sell for maximum profit. But that has changed with the new ETF.

I sold my 16GB 3GS blk the day after they announced iP4 and I got $400 it was unlocked and in good condition just normal wear on the back from being in a case. My brother just sold his 16GB 3GS white 3.1.3 for $300. We both sold on a local news site that has a great classified ads if your close to Utah i recommend checking it out www.KSL.com. I promise this isnt spam either just a good option cause ebay kills you on selling fees I believe and havent tried craiglist yet.

Same here I am selling mine on ebay it have about 12 hours left now and is at $400... That is a 16gb 3gs with the apple warranty and square trade warranty. I find listing the warranties in the title gets you more views and being mint of course as well.
