Fallout 1 and 2 Help - 10.5.6

Hey

I'm an on a white macbook of specifications:

GMA X3100
2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

I have read the threads on getting 256 colour back onto later versions of mac than 10.5.2 but the threads seem to end before 10.5.6 is released. Is there anyway to do this with 10.5.6 ?
Will the same method of using Pacifist work? Is there ANY other way that I can play fallout on my macbook?
