Sweet.
Fox's animated hit will kick off its fifth season this fall with an hourlong episode that retells the "Star Wars" saga using "Family Guy" characters.

Lucasfilm has blessed the event, which will have the Griffin family acting out all the key scenes and narrative from "Star Wars: Episode IV -- A New Hope," the first installment of the franchise. "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane is a major "Star Wars" fan and was personally involved in getting Lucasfilm on board, an exec from 20th Century Fox TV said.

Well, that lasted a long time. :D

Any alternate sources? If it's a full episode, what's the season # and episode #?

Not an episode. It's a few scenes from Star Wars Episode 4 redone with FG characters. Pretty clever stuff...and really funny.

...I looked a little on YT for some other clips, but came up empty handed :(

Edit: scratch that, found it.

I didn't watch the whole thing cause the crowd was annoying but it looks good. Is this goin to air sometime? Or is it goin to be on a DVD?

according to the article that someone posted a link to. the episode is going to be the first episode of the next season. in other words it will air this fall.

The DevilDucky site I linked to says it's a preview for an hour-long episode next season that is an hour-long spoof of Star Wars Episode IV. ...and I can't wait to see it. If they made remakes of other movies with Family Guy characters, I'd probably guy them - that clip was hilarious.
